Open Store Hours:
Monday - Saturday 10am-4pm. Sunday 12-5pm.

Mail Order Phone Hours:
Monday - Saturday 10-4pm Pacific Time.

We do not take phone orders on Sundays. 

Trading Policy

We trade mass market paperback books 1 book for every 3 that you bring us. Bring in 3 paperbacks that we can use and you can take one of ours for free. The trades should be of a similar subject/genre - mystery for mystery, romance for romance.

We also trade the large size paperback novels 1 for every 3 you bring us.

We trade for 'books on CD' 3 for 1 for the number of CDs in the box. So for a 9CD set you can get a CD set with 3CDs in it. 

You may bring in as much as you like, but please call ahead if you have a large quantity since we do not always have enough space to store them. If you do not wish to get all of your trades on the same day we will give you a card which you keep (or give away) and can use to redeem the card at any time. There is no expiration date for store credit.

Purchasing Policy

We are currently purchasing books in the subjects of art, military, transportation (cars, ships, trains, planes), and history of specific subjects.

We are always looking for good quality books with dustjackets or leather-bound editions in any subject. We are generally not interested in book club editions, most self-help books, school textbooks, encyclopedias, Time/Life, or Reader's Digest books.

That being said we will be happy to look at whatever you would like to show us. Bring your books by the store anytime, Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. We do not buy books on Sundays. All you have to do is pile them in your car, come into the store, let us know you have a load of books, and we will come out to your car to take a look. We will even help you bring 'em in the store. If we are not able to take your books we can always tell you how to get rid of them.
